Abstrak

Regional Regulation of Jombang Regency Number 6 of 2025 concerning the Protection of Women and Children Victims of Violence is enacted to provide a comprehensive legal framework for the protection, prevention, handling, and recovery of women and children who are victims of violence. This regulation is based on the principles of respect for human dignity, non-discrimination, the best interests of victims, justice, expediency, legal certainty, and confidentiality.

The regulation governs the scope of protection, the rights of victims, the obligations and responsibilities of the Regional Government, and the roles of relevant institutions in providing integrated services. Protection measures include prevention efforts, complaint mechanisms, emergency response, medical, psychological, legal, and social assistance, as well as rehabilitation and social reintegration for victims.

Furthermore, this regulation emphasizes coordination among regional apparatuses, law enforcement agencies, service providers, and the community to ensure effective and sustainable protection. Funding for the implementation of the protection of women and children victims of violence is sourced from the Regional Budget and other legitimate sources in accordance with prevailing laws and regulations.

This regulation aims to ensure the fulfillment of the rights of women and children victims of violence and to create a safe, just, and dignified environment within Jombang Regency.
